- That the most common beneficiary of First Aid training are friends and family,
- That First Aid Training is a vital component of any organisations Occupational, Health, Safety and Welfare strategy,
- That First Aid is mainly about doing things right and that skills can only be developed from guided practice,
- Learning complex skills such as Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation cannot be rushed,
- That Community members and workplaces should have a Emergency Response plans, that help develop their independent Emergency Care capacity and their capacity to competently act prior to the arrival of Emergency Services,

About the First Aid Centre |
The First Aid Centre was founded in 1998 when then Comalco Aluminium (Bell Bay) found that they needed an Emergency Services experienced trainer to facilitate the skills development of their First Aid and Emergency Medical Response TEAM.
From Bell Bay Tasmania the First Aid Centre First Aid and Emergency Training in most areas of Tasmania. With occasional specialist courses being conducted in other areas of Australia.
As a First Aider provides the vital, and often lifesaving, care prior to the arrival of Emergency Medical assistance the First Aid Centre helps its trainees attain a level of skill and confidence to prepare for when an Emergency happens.
The First Aid Centre , works in partnership with a Nationally Accredited Registered Training Organisation Safeguard Training RTO 90987, delivers a range of First Aid Courses from a number of nationally approved training packages.
